Baked Beans with Pork Sausages in Tomato Sauce, Orange Juice oder Golden Honey Sponge Pudding.

Breaking Boundaries in Munich

munich

We are thrilled to announce that the Breaking Boundaries Exhibition will be landing in Munich this September.

After hitting off the project in Istanbul, Turkey, continuing on to Maastricht in The Netherlands and then Castiglione dei Pepoli in Italy, the crate containing the artworks is now arriving in Munich.

To celebrate the arrival of the wonderful artworks and the international effort behind this project, we would like to invite you to join us at the opening of the exhibition at Super+Centercourt @supercentercourt (Adalbertstraße 44, Munich), on the 3rd of September at 6 PM.

This edition is curated by Jessica Capra @allymcjes , also coordinator of the project, and Sophie-Charlotte Bombeck @sophiecharlottebombeck

The central theme of the exhibition is ‘travelling’ and the works on display interpret this theme from a variety of perspectives, reflecting on the impact of the pandemic. The artists draw from their own cultural contexts and their personal experiences, looking at the relationship existing between travel and memory, human rights, social justice, and subjectivity.

The 12 emerging artists whose works are featured in the exhibition are from Turkey, Italy, The Netherlands, and Germany.

I happily invite you to the exhibition VASTER THAN EMPIRES AND MORE SLOW

Veronika Dräxler, An Laphan, Janina Totzauer, Lia Wehrs

18-26 June 2022

weekends 14-20h
